I joined the board to support an alternative model of business that promotes healthy and sustainable foods and products.
I joined the Kokua Board to support a different kind of grocery shopping experience, and a locally owned store that supports healthy, local and organic foods.
I support Kokua because it is part of my life.
I rejoined Kokua Market's board because I believe in what a co-op brings to a community: collective empowerment and sustainable living.
I believe strongly in the cooperative movement and enjoy playing a small role in our Cooperative.
Kokua offers a way to serve the community and eat right.
Hawaii is a fragile place and without local agriculture, encouraged by organizations like Kokua, we are a few days away from hunger.
I am part of Kokua Market because it represents my values: conscious eating; healthy approaches; shared community; and sustainable living.
